Arlene Buster is an award-winning Cuban-American painter living in the Los Angeles area. She was born in Hoboken, NJ in 1969 and is the daughter of two Cuban exiles. From a young age Arlene Buster had a passion for painting. Her parents and grandmother often found her absorbed in her artwork, hiding away in the tranquil corners of her home. This devotion was further nurtured when her mother enrolled her in her first private art class. As time went on, Arlene was introduced to the art of oil painting and attended classes for a duration of five years. This period of time proved to be transformative and has had a lasting impact on her life. 
She grew up in Hudson County, amidst busy streets and the tantalizing aromas of Cuban and Hispanic cuisine, and she developed a deep connection to her cultural roots. After high school, she attended Montclair State University, where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts focused on painting and drawing. Subsequently, she continued her education and earned a Master of Fine Arts in Figurative Painting from the Academy of Art University.
Currently she is a Paint Nite Event Owner of Boozy Pigments Paint and Sip.
